Utrecht in Dialogue brings neighbors into conversation with each other in order to belong, to be meaningful, and to make the neighborhood more beautiful and better for everyone. The function

You approach and involve active residents, professionals and organizations in the neighborhood in the preparation, design and possibly. supervision of meetings intended to make contacts, discuss a theme, engage in conversation, become active, be of significance to others and more. By deepening themes and doing things together, you build an open, connected community where everyone feels welcome. You make and maintain contact by phone, mail, whatsapp, facebook, linkedin, twitter, instagram, whatsapp, youtube, meetings and newsletters.

Your tasks

• maintain personal, online and collective contact with local residents, volunteers, partners and key figures in Leidsche Rijn, North East or Lunetten/South.
• personally involving local residents, volunteers and professionals in the preparation and design of (series) events and activities and in recruiting participants
• discover talents and opportunities in the neighborhood that are meaningful, provide satisfaction and pleasure, reinforce belonging, participate and make counting easy, that help residents take ownership
• personally and collectively involving and guiding dialogue facilitators, table organizers and participants in the neighborhood networks in Leidsche Rijn, North East or Lunetten/South.

Your profile

You like to maintain contact with many different people, you are interested in people, you have an eye for what everyone can mean for others, the community, society and new generations. You are strongly in contact through different channels, live, online and mixed. You are a real networker, live in Utrecht and can devote 4-6 hours a week to Utrecht in Dialogue for at least six months.

The position can be filled flexibly and is suitable for students, trainees, starters and job seekers who want to reorient themselves, gain work experience and/or build a network in Utrecht. A position as a trainee or intern or a work experience place is also possible.
