Do you like to sew and do you want to pass on your talent to others? Then we are looking for you!

Villa Vrede is looking for a teacher to give the sewing course at Villa Vrede.

We are looking for someone for 1 or 2 half-days per week.

You will perform the following tasks:

* roll out the design of the course (in collaboration with the coordinator) - what do we offer in the course, how do we deal with level differences, etc.

* Teach 3-6 students for half a day, once or twice a week

* monitor student progress

Who are you?

* You have experience and / or affinity with people from other cultural backgrounds

* You get energy from the idea that you can design the course yourself

* And of course; you have experience in sewing (and possibly crocheting and / or knitting). You certainly don't have to have attended fashion school. The main thing is that you enjoy it yourself and that you enjoy transferring your knowledge to others.

What do we offer you?

* Our 'own' sewing workshop with + - 8 sewing machines and sufficient materials on location at Villa Vrede

* Guidance / help from coordinators and / or other volunteers

* Become part of a cozy place where you can meet people and where you are always welcome (and a delicious hot lunch every day!)

Corona time: We are immediately looking for a teacher. Of course, the safety of you and the students is important in these times. That is why for the time being a maximum of 2 students can be taught at the same time (due to the size of the room). It would also be great if you initially wanted to teach students to sew mouth masks so that we can hand them out and / or sell them.
