Vacancy: fundraiser

hoiUtrecht is immediately looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser. It is a voluntary position for a few hours a month within a unique project in Utrecht. Experience is not necessary. We are willing to teach you the tricks of the trade. In short, a great opportunity to gain experience as a fundraiser.

What is hoiUtrecht?

At hoiUtrecht you will find positive, interesting stories from Utrecht residents. hoiUtrecht consists of three stages: the short story collection, story exhibitions and republications in national magazines and local media. In this way we offer a voice to people who are hindered from fully participating in society.

Target

We work on raising awareness with the dissemination of stories of experience. The stories are for everyone, so that there is more understanding and space for participation.

Do you look at obstacles? Then everyone is limited.

Do you look at talent? Then everyone can participate!

Our goal is to connect people, to inspire and make them aware of themselves and their environment.

Team

As a team, we set a good example. We are an inclusive team of experienced experts, informal carers and involved citizens. All professionals who are committed to an inclusive society.

Fundraising

hoiUtrecht receives contributions from the municipality of Utrecht. Sporadically supplemented with a donation from another fund. For the coming years we are looking for structural financing to guarantee our continued existence.

Your role as a fundraiser

To realize the activities of hoiUtrecht, we are looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser. hoiUtrecht does not receive structural financial support and is therefore dependent on project subsidies and gifts / donations. As a fundraiser you will actively approach capital funds and other parties and interest them in financing hoiUtrecht projects. You ensure that hoiUtrecht is and remains on the map with funds, nationally and regionally.

It is a voluntary position for a few hours a month. Experience is not necessary. We are willing to teach you the tricks of the trade.

What do we ask of you?

• Affinity with fundraising, familiar with possibilities and conditions.
• You work independently, in a structured way and you are goal-oriented.
• Presence at hiTeam meeting, 2 to 6 per year, currently we consult online.
• Living in the Utrecht region, preferably Utrecht city.
• A relevant network in care & welfare and citizen initiatives is an advantage.
