Caravan Crew

WHY

More and more young people are experiencing intense life themes and are often in their own bubble.

Yet young people have a lot to offer, are often very inclusive, innovative and love to work together. Young people also know best what young people want: peer to peer.

The Caravan Crew is a group of young people who illuminate these themes through creative projects.

WHAT

AllOne wants to guide young people in highlighting these life themes in and around their living environment. We want to set them in motion to get other young people moving = blowing bubbles together instead of staying in your own bubble.

Due to the coaching character, the young people will become wiser and more powerful. For doing, doing together, doing it yourself.

The Crew members learn skills that will help them later on: from organizing to becoming a self-managing team, from thinking out of the box to presenting, from learning to research to being able to express yourself creatively.

We want to translate this into (local) politics so that young people can make their voices heard.

And we will exchange ideas and thoughts with other European young people, set up projects and inspire politics from a shared vision.

HOW

By helping young people to set up creative art projects around life themes in a playful and innovative way, which they pick up from other young people of various ages.

We literally want this 'movement' to move through the neighborhood(s) by deploying our own caravan. A caravan that they also embellish themselves with their own creative expressions. A caravan that they use for meetings, collecting ideas from the neighborhood of other young people, small performances, and whatever else they come up with.

In this way they become the eyes and ears of other young people and their networks in the neighbourhood. And by participating in the district and municipal councils, they can contribute ideas about youth policy.

HOW COULD YOU STRENGTHEN OUR TEAM?

-if you are between 16 and 30 years old

-if you are older than 30, there is definitely a place for you;>

-if you want to make a social contribution in a creative way

-if you like organizing, recruiting, promoting and guiding

-if you want to learn everything yourself in all kinds of areas

- if you are flexible, both in terms of thinking and working

-if you're not afraid to look across borders to connect
