Exactly one hundred years after the opening of the orphanage, the first residents moved into rest home De Wartburg Oog in Al. That eventually became the residential care center it is today. Due to its Lutheran origins, De Wartburg has a beautiful chapel, where a service is still celebrated every Sunday morning. Many residents and people from outside attend it.

These activities take place in the living room or in the central areas such as De Palas, Domplein or outside the location.
