About Buitenplaats Doornburgh

Buitenplaats Doornburgh has existed since 1623 and is located along the winding river Vecht. It is a place where art, science and nature meet. Since 2018, Stichting Buitenplaats Doornburgh has been organizing and facilitating exhibitions, lectures and residencies at the intersection of art and science.

We are as versatile as the people who work for us. For example, our volunteers give guided tours about the history and architecture of the country estate. The maintenance of the greenery is provided by a group of committed, voluntary gardeners. They also take care of the pigs that come to cheer our estate every year. Together we strive for a sustainable and circular future.
