Host/wife evening hours neighborhood center de Leeuw

Neighborhood center De Leeuw is a well-functioning neighborhood center with a pleasant, open atmosphere and a varied program of activities for and with various users (groups). In the evening, many permanent and occasional residents and activity groups use the neighborhood center.

To support the user groups, we are looking for an independently working volunteer as host/hostess for one or more evenings a week. Times in consultation between 19.00 and 23.00 at the latest.

As hostess/host you offer practical support to user groups in the meeting room; you are the point of contact and contribute to a safe and open atmosphere, you manage the buffet (dispensing drinks and payment, loading and unloading the dishwasher) and you close the building together with users.

Can you work independently (after a familiarization period), do you enjoy working with diverse people and rolling up your sleeves? Are you friendly and service oriented? Then we have a challenging, pleasant place for you in our neighborhood center!

The management volunteers are supported by the Dock social manager/broker. An expense allowance (eg travel costs) is possible, as well as relevant courses such as a training course in Emergency Response.
