To strengthen the management team, we are looking for new committed volunteers on a fixed part of the day. Currently on Mon and Wed 9am to 1pm.Detailed description
Do you enjoy dealing with people and rolling up your sleeves? Are you friendly and service oriented? Do you prefer to live in the Noordoost district and can you work independently (after the training period)? Then we have a challenging, pleasant place for you in our neighborhood center!
Neighborhood center De Leeuw is a well-functioning neighborhood center with a pleasant, open atmosphere and a varied program of activities for and with various users (groups). During the walk-in hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the social management team is the face of the community centre, consisting of volunteers supported by social brokers from Dock Utrecht.
The main task of the management team consists of receiving visitors in the meeting room, providing guided tours, providing information, buffet management (dispensing drinks and paying, loading and unloading the dishwasher) and being a point of contact for users (groups) de Leeuw.
Other tasks : providing help and service to user groups where necessary, keeping the cupboards tidy, keeping the publicity boards and brochure racks in the meeting room neat and up to date, small cleaning jobs and keeping the entrance and square clean.
An expense allowance (eg travel expenses) is possible, as well as relevant courses such as a training course in company emergency response (BHV).
