About Het Danspaleis

The mission of the Danspaleis is to keep all elderly people in the Netherlands vital and inclusive. Based on the vision that music is a magical means of bringing people together and motivating the elderly, the Danspaleis formula has been developed with three additional components. A dance party for the elderly where young and old meet. Dancing connects, because you dance together! It cuts across generations, cultural backgrounds, walks of life, and sexual and political preferences. Music has the power to evoke stories of the past and offers guidance for the elderly in the present.
