About Intocht Utrecht

The Intocht Utrecht is the annual entry of Sinterklaas into the city of Utrecht. All residents of Utrecht are very welcome at this large party that is usually celebrated by more than 35,000 enthusiastic visitors. This makes the entry one of the largest outdoor events in the city.

The entry is a complex event consisting of six main parts: the start at the Ledig Erf, the cruise through the Oude Gracht, the arrival at the Weerdsluis, the procession through the city, the children's event at the Domplein and various small sub-events.

The organization of the entry is in the hands of dozens of motivated volunteers who do everything they can to make it a fantastic event again. For the entry in November every year many volunteers are needed to make this beautiful party possible.
