Board position Intocht Utrecht, Utrecht City Relaxation Foundation (SSOU)

In November, Sinterklaas will arrive in Utrecht again. Every year the entry is celebrated by 35,000 enthusiastic visitors. This makes the arrival of Sinterklaas one of the largest events in Utrecht. The organization of the entry is in the hands of twenty motivated volunteers (Coordinators), a head and artistic producer and a partially cooperating board.

De Intocht Utrecht is looking for a board member who is in the middle of the business world and can thus also bring the entry into contact with entrepreneurs and other organizations. De Intocht would like to enter into lasting relationships with companies and institutions in Utrecht and the surrounding area.

Board member Intocht Utrecht at the SSOU

As a board member you are jointly responsible for determining the policy surrounding the Intocht Utrecht and you implement this policy. Together with the other three board members and the project leader, there is a meeting once a month from February and the meetings will be more frequent towards November. In addition, board members are also active in maintaining relationships and establishing new valuable contacts for the entry.

What are you going to do

- Shaping policy in collaboration and partly implementing it;

- Once a month board meeting from March to December

- Introducing an entrepreneurial network into the organization;

- Stay in touch with the PACO (Partner Committee) and, where possible, come up with ideas.

We are looking for someone who ...

- Preferably lives or works in Utrecht;

- Has a large business network;

- Wants to contribute about 5 hours per month unsalaried to the policy of the entry;

- The entry has a warm heart;

- Enjoys bringing people and organizations together.
