Santa is looking for help

Sinterklaas will return to Utrecht in November. Every year the entry is celebrated by 35,000 enthusiastic visitors. This makes the arrival of Sinterklaas one of the biggest events in Utrecht. The organization of the entry is in the hands of twenty motivated volunteers (Coordinators) who do everything they can to make it a fantastic party every year.

The entry into Utrecht has the following objectives:

• Stimulate that more children from more different neighborhoods visit the central entry;
• Spreading the message of giving and sharing;
• Organize an entry that is as sustainable and inclusive as possible;

Each year we set up a number of social projects around these objectives and seek collaborations with social organisations. We are looking for a coordinator who will supplement our Social Committee.

Coordinator Social Committee (MACO)

Every year, the MACO, in collaboration with the board and project leader, determines which social projects will be organized around the arrival in Utrecht and we make the arrival more sustainable and inclusive. We actively seek collaborations with local organisations, neighborhood teams and institutions to shape the various projects.

What are you going to do

- Brainstorming and determining which projects will be tackled;

- You bring people and organizations together to shape the project;

- You organize the project from A to Z;

- You work together with the Communications Committee to create awareness;

- You keep an overview and the social goal very well in mind.

Who are looking for someone who..

- Is socially and socially involved and has an affinity with sustainability;

- Likes to activate people and organizations for the project;

- Propose ideas and initiatives yourself;

- Preferably has experience with event organization;

- Approx. 4 hours a week has time from April.
