About Kunstliefde

Art love, Room for Visual Art, offers a varying exhibition program with a focus on contemporary art, Utrecht artists and young makers. Genootschap Kunstl Liefde, founded in 1807, is also one of the oldest artists' associations in the Netherlands.

Kunstl Liefde is the organizer of the Utrecht Atelierroute and UtrechtDownUnder (Contemporary art at special locations in Utrecht) and initiator of the Art Utrecht platform.

In 1807 Kunstl Liefde was founded as a Teeken Institute. The association consists of more than 110 professional visual artists from Utrecht and the rest of the country. In addition, the society has approximately 200 "art-loving" members who are interested in art.

Stage nights and courses are regularly organized.

Kunstl Liefde collaborates with other art institutions in the city and beyond.
De Belofte, a project for promising starting artists, is an initiative of Kunstl Liefde in collaboration with the Utrecht School of the Arts.
