The Ronald McDonald Living Room Utrecht also relies on a large group of volunteers. There are a total of 3 Living Rooms: 1 large Living Room in the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital and 2 Living Rooms in the Princess Máxima Center. A weekend volunteer in the Ronald McDonald Living Room works a three-hour shift every other week or on a flexible basis. In the Living Room you are primarily hostess/host. Your duties include welcoming visitors and offering a cup of coffee or tea. In addition, volunteers offer a listening ear if there is a need or a tour of the Living Room to new visitors. Keeping the common areas clean is also part of your work. Most importantly, you want to do something for others, especially by making your "presence" available.
