About Stichting BuurtMaaltijden

BuurtMaaltijden is an organization that uses healthy food as a means to engage and reach out to residents of Overvecht, especially those who are socially isolated. We believe that connection and interaction are basic needs for everyone and a prerequisite for self-assurance, growth, and reintegration into society. Therefore, we are also involved in the development of our volunteers and encourage self-sufficiency and confidence-building. We prepare healthy meals for the neighborhood every week, going door-to-door to deliver meals and organizing social dining tables. BuurtMaaltijden has a large and dynamic network of residents, volunteers, professionals, and organizations and is deeply embedded in the community.
