About Stichting Het Lachende Paard

In 2005, Martin and Sanne de Groot founded The Laughing Horse. The Smiling Horse is a city farm in Tuindorp-Oost on the outskirts of the city of Utrecht. Here we keep and take care of our goats, sheep, chickens, donkeys and, as the name suggests, horses.

The city farm is self-managed. Together with a group of enthusiastic people, the foundation takes care of the animals and also the management and maintenance of this special area in Utrecht. In the future, The Laughing Horse will be part of the Green Kop van Tuindorp-Oost that is yet to be set up.
