Housing volunteer
The residents/clients of the Rijnhoven live in small-scale housing.
This means that they live in a house with max. 8 residents.
They all have their own sleeping space, but they share the living room and kitchen. 24-hour care is provided here.
At the house there is 1 carer and sometimes a living room supervisor.
As a volunteer you participate in the house as a hostess/host in the living room of the residents/clients. For example, you help to ensure that the meals run smoothly and pleasantly.
But it is also possible that you read the newspaper or play a game with the resident/client.
It is also possible to do shopping for the residents, take a walk or bake an apple pie.
You make the agreements about what you can and want to do and what is desirable with the nurse at the home.
