We are looking for volunteers who want to guide our residents / clients to and from the hospital. It concerns voluntary work on an on-call basis and in consultation.

About Stichting Axioncontinu locatie ' t Huis a/d Vecht

Location Residential care center 't Huis aan de Vecht is located in a quiet part of the Utrecht district of Overvecht. The park-like environment is ideal for walks. In the garden of 't Huis aan de Vecht is a large outdoor terrace and in the immediate vicinity is the De Klop shopping center. Housing The residential care center consists of 180 apartments spread over twelve floors. The apartments have one or two rooms, an open kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen has a hob and fridge. The bathroom has a shower, a raised toilet and a sink. The apartments are equipped with cupboard space, telephone connection, emergency call and electric blinds. 'T Huis aan de Vecht offers you service like in a hotel. This way you can compose your own meal based on a choice menu. You can use the meal in your own apartment, but also in the restaurant on the ground floor. Visitors can eat along. A few evenings a week, residents and local residents can enjoy a three-course dinner in senior restaurant 't Trefpunt. The residential care center also has a shop for groceries. Zorg 't Huis aan de Vecht offers a wide range of care: from assistance with physical care to nursing care. Within 't Huis aan de Vecht are two units for residents with a nursing home indication; one for residents with physical disorders and one for residents with memory problems. 'T Huis aan de Vecht also offers the option of temporary admission. A general practitioner is affiliated with the residential care center, but residents can also keep their own general practitioner. 'T Huis aan de Vecht has a pharmacy, a physiotherapy practice and a pedicure. Each resident has a permanent contact person, the "First Responsible". The agreements that this EV'er makes with the resident are recorded in the personal residential care plan. Additional services, such as a hearing care professional, optician and a company that provides support to users of compression stockings, visit regularly. The Thrombosis Service visits the residential care center once a week; if necessary, these employees visit the residents in their apartment.
