Treasurer at Regional Museum Vredegoed in Tienhoven

A treasurer is a volunteer position that can often be done from home. You are of course part of the Executive Board. We meet about 10 times a year and 4 times a year as General Board. Together this takes about 30 hours per year in terms of time. In addition, the weekly work takes an average of 2 hours per week. However, this can be filled in freely. Every week you will have to go to the museum to count the cash box and to skim and further process the weekly income stream.

As treasurer, you are responsible for the financial administration and shaping the financial policy to be pursued. In addition to physically counting weekly income, you will be sending and paying bills. In addition, informing/accounting for the board by means of an updated balance sheet via the meeting moments or by e-mail. You also prepare the annual financial statements and you hold annual consultations with the external audit committee.

The general board consists of 5 people, of which 2 are general board members. Since the secretary has also been treasurer for years now, it is time for a separation of duties.
