About Toevlucht

Toevlucht is a shelter for undocumented men in Utrecht. We started in December 2013. "Under protest" because there was no place to sleep for these men and we found it inhumane that they had to sleep on the street.
After a demonstration in May 2014 on the town hall square, the municipality of Utrecht has pledged its support.
Every night, we provide bed, bath and bread to about 24 men through the efforts of volunteers!

De Toevlucht is its own foundation with an ANBI status.
