Voluntary Coordinator Buddy Project Eye Contact

To mean something to someone else: a buddy. Buddies really mean a lot to their older fellow townspeople. They make the difference. Do you like to coordinate and organize? We are looking for a coordinator for our Buddy Project Oog Contact.

The Eye Contact Buddy Project is aimed at establishing and maintaining (long-term) contacts, so that people are no longer alone. Skilled volunteers are used for this. The coordinator is the link between the participants and the volunteers.

You are the contact person for the volunteers. They can contact you with questions and stories. You also ensure the right match between volunteer and participant. You also have regular contact with a board member.

The coordinator:

• Conducts introductory meetings with participants and buddies;
• Makes the link between volunteers and participants;
• Supervises the volunteers;
• Is the contact person for the project;
• Organizes group meetings, online or live;
• Takes care of the administrative processes;
• Takes care of the newsletter/information provision online.

We ask:

• Affinity with the elderly;
• 4 to 6 hours per week availability;
• Participation in (additional) training and consultations;
• Flexible hours.
